Water-cooled cultivation LED light
In contrast to passively cooled horticultural LED lights, actively water-cooled LED lights give you more control over the temperature and the climate in the greenhouse. Especially water cooled LED lights make it easy to manage the climate because the water extracts the heat out of the greenhouse. Windows stay closed and CO2 stays inside. The heat can be reused in several ways so no energy goes to waste. The water cooling technology also ensures an even longer lifespan of the electronic parts and the leds. Horticultural LED grow lights versus HPS
Currently, traditional High Pressure Sodium (HPS lights or HID lights) are still frequently used in horticulture. Unfortunately, these lamps consume a lot of energy, produce a lot of heat and the plant cannot use all the colors of the spectrum.
Horticulture LED grow lights are the future for sustainable crop cultivation. They are energy efficient, have a longer lifespan than other fixtures on the market and can produce the perfect spectrum for each crop. Horticultural LED lights with a customized light spectrum ensure better quality, faster growth, more harvest, larger fruits and better taste all year round. When your crop requires a bit of warmth, water-cooled LEDs can also be applied in a hybrid lighting configuration (meaning combined with HPS).
Our water-cooled horticultural LED lights produce more light compared to HPS fixtures as well; 4020 uMol/s vs. 2100 uMol/s. Also the efficiency is much better; 3.6 vs. 1.7 μMol/J. This means you need less fixtures for the same amount of light. Curious how many fixtures you would need to get the required amount of light? Oreon is a reliable horticulture LED light supplier and we’re looking forward to applying our vision to your growing area. Please contact us for more information or request a light plan.
